Groundstrokes
For me, the 100T has been the best feeling frame in the RZR line of racquets. Despite the usual vibration from stiff racquets, the mass of the frame counters much of the shock and/or racquet flutter when facing a heavy ball. Once you get this beast moving through the air, the momentum of the racquet does most of the work for you. As a result, I was able to take relaxed cuts at the ball and focus on smooth, simple technique. It’s fair to say that I did not achieve as much spin as with other, lighter RZR models, but I did not have an problem with keeping the ball deep in the court.

Volleys
Maneuverability is not a strong point of this frame. However, the mass of the racquet made facing a scorching passing shot more manageable. Solid contact was rewarded with great pace and depth. Once acclimated, drop volleys and short angles are also possible with the 100T.

Serves
Like on groundstrokes, my swing speed declined slightly with the 100T. As a result, I didn’t get as big a serve as with the RZR 95, though my kick serve did have more action than with the RZR 98. The 100T does not seem to whip up and over the hand as easily as lighter frames, but the extra mass kept me from losing too much pace on my flat serves.

Overall
For players that can handle it, the RZR 100T is worth a demo. The high swingweight reduces some of the “unpleasantness” that stiff, modern frames can be known for. The 100 square inch headsize provided just enough pocketing without turning the frame into a rocket launcher, though proper string selection will be essential. Hitters with the ability to create and use the frame’s momentum will appreciate the plowthrough of this stick. Players who tire easily will need to explore other options. This frame is best suited for physically strong, 3.5 level players and up.
